the ecstacy of olo.
i don’t care what it says in The Atlantic
them “scientists” don’t know nothing.
it was i who saw it first— olo
january 25th,
2024.
“the most intense teal.”
no, no, no. they’ve got it all wrong.
i see it as the most uncanny of browns,
an ancient space between maroon itself,
and the embers of a living flame, and all that dances in its tips.
you wouldn’t describe the swirling cosmos
with a single color—
would you?
or the ecstasy of “olo”
in her infinite eyes
or her celestial stare.
